ʼm an avid gamer and a true gadget freak so designing sound and composing music for video games comes very naturally. Iʼve composed music and created custom sounds for Xbox, iOS, Android, Windows Phone and web based games and applications – most notably for the hit XBLA puzzler “The Splatters”. The game was published in 2012 by Microsoft Games to great critical acclaim and its new version – “Super Splatters” is about to be launched on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux.
Written with Ableton Live 9. Used Virus TI, Moog Minitaur, NI Massive and various other Soft Synths. I use a Launchpad, iPad with Touchable, Roland A300 Pro Keyboard and a Waldorf Blofeld (mainly as a master keyboard). You can see my setup in this video: youtu.be/DNHCWUwftKk I work on the basic loops in Live's Session mode and spend a lot of time refining the structure and adding new parts in Arrangement mode. Originally a sketchor the Super Splatters OST, I decided to keep working on it for this compilation.
The soundtrack to indie game “Cottage Quest” is a marvel of pointillist synths and chiptune influence—charming and catchy all at once. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 6, 2023
If the Phantom of the Opera wrote video game music, it might sound something like the sweeping, stately songs on “Place of Honor.” Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 25, 2023
